Visited the Kanha tiger reserve between the 25th and 30th of January 2006.
The entire National Park area is 940 sq. km. located in the Maikal hills of the Satpuras, parts of Mandla & Balaghat districts of Madhya Pradesh.Apart from a healthy population of tigers, the reserve is the only habitat of Barasingha or Swamp Deer.
